The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), 123 years old in 2018, is one of a kind. An Institution with a difference.

From very humble beginnings in 1895, it evolved, through many ups and downs, into a national body which was effective in serving and representing industry but, more importantly, took Indian business into many uncharted waters, crossing frontiers.

This book tries to captures the culture and ethos, the strategy and outcome as CII moved from a point of breakdown to a significant leadership role.
